Throw that perp, who is obviously a waste of space, into a set of stocks with a nice basket of rocks nearby. Also, it's time to start dropping birth control meds from helicopters around the city. Jeez, how difficult can it be?

Wasn't this the case where the victim actually had one of the attacker's cell phones and a picture on the phone of his attacker? About damn time an arrest was made, especially with evidence like that.

Maybe in addition to the criminal prosecution of the alleged juvenile perpetrator, the victim can sue the kid and/or his family in a civil action?

Rich: The attack happened at 4:20 A.M. A minor on the 18th St. Adams Morgan strip with four gay-bashing buddies after 4AM on a Sunday. Why wasn't this person also charged with breaking curfew? Perhaps he was with someone who was over 21 years of age, in which case we might have some 'adult' charged and a name named. If not accompanied by someone over 21 years of age, then the parents are in violation of the Juvenile Curfew Act, and should be charged accordingly. In which case, we get the identities that way, no?

glad to hear that the police are closing the case on their end. here's hoping that justice is served in the courts. problem is, juvenile justice in the district is such a mess that this kid will end up back on the streets with nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

a look at the pictures tells me he should be charged with attempted murder.
