Look Out, Georgetown

Former Miss D.C. Kate Michael writes on her blog, K Street Kate, that she was told by soon-to-be reality TV star Katherine Kennedy ("herself!") that filming started yesterday on Blonde Charity Mafia. The show, as you'll recall, is styled after The Hills and follows the lives of young, blonde Washington socialites. It will eventually air on the Lifetime network, following Project Runway.

Can you update us as to when they will be done filming? I won't step foot into Georgetown until they are done.

Blond Charity Mafia? Really? Couldn't think of a better name?

a) They're not natural blonds
2) I don't remember seeing them at Hands on DC this year.
d) Bang.

That monkey's got a gun to his head and he's about to pull the trigger! Maybe!

From the one or two Laguna Beach episodes I watched, the cameras always seemed to be in a bush two blocks away from the action. I suspect a similarly unobtrusive filming technique will be used. Maybe?

Georgetown's obnoxious knobs now go to 11.

I can't wait for the very special episode where Vanderbilt alum Ross Brooks learns first hand the curtains do not match the drapes.

So is this like "Promiscuous Idiots Island" on Fox, where they're trying to escape from Georgetown? Because I'd totally watch that, if it were directed by John Carpenter and starred Kurt Russell in an eyepatch.

Posy when they are filming so we can go make noise and make it impossible for them to get any filming done.

Curtains do not match the drapes? Unless you're operating on some level of irony far above my capacity, I think one of those should be rug or carpet.

curtain=eyebrows and drapes=hair?

you're right, registeringsucks, something is amiss here...

What's the story with Ray Regan? If you follow that link to K Street Kate's blog post there is a picture with her and this guy. He's a short chubby guy with a mullet. Yet if I google his name i get results like he's some kind of big deal.

How is this dumpy guy, of all people, a big deal D.C. socialite?
