Love the photo.

Silly biker/blogger.

"Blogger merits junkpunch" is the new "dog bites man."

"Whose" and "who's" are not interchangeable . . .

So basically what John McCain is saying is, "John McCain does not care about poor people." Ouch.

This morning I got a ticket. While riding my bike. A cop stopped me and another biker on New Hampshire Avenue this morning, for going the wrong way down a one-way block. We've each been fined $25. I just cannot believe it.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Yeah. Don't do it.

Here's a thought. Instead of bombarding people with pointless messages, why not take responsibility for your actions? There's not too much of that going around nowdays, so it'd make you a pretty edgy, hardcore biker type. Guaranteed to get you laid. Or shot. Either way, you'll get the attention you richly deserve.

Peace,

+++JMJ+++

Hardcore cyclist is a douchebag. Overworking the police systems and resources out of spite?

Childish bullshit.

Hope the next cop that Hardcore cyclist rides past puts his nightstick through the spokes of Hardcore's wheels.

Wonder what part of "one way" douchebag did not understand?

his revenge will soon get very tiresome; stopping to text for every infraction he witnesses/invents will only last a day or so.

question: so, if someone's kid is out learning to ride their bike (assuming it's their bike and they're not carrying a gun), and they live on a one-way street, the kid can legally only go the one way? or are their legal exceptions to bikes and cars sharing the rules of the road?

"If I lea-eave here tomor-row...would you still remember me-eee...For I must be-ee traveling on now...'cause there's too many places I got to se-eee..."

[Woman turns around. JUNKPUNCH.]

...and if his text message carpet bombing doesn't work, he's going to hold his breath!!!

People like this guy help give cyclists their douchebag reputation.

I think the biker dude should be allowed to go the wrong way down one-way streets, provided he only does it at night while wearing black clothing on a bike with no reflectors. He must also wear headphones and sunglasses.

Indeed, people on bikes are supposed to obey the same laws as people in cars. Sure they slip by often but are just as liable for punishment when they get caught. He can cry all he wants but this is the other edge of the sword that protects him should he become the victim in a traffic accident.

Also, that banjo guy hangs out by the river in Alexandria, is a fun time to watch.

I can't wait until MPD slaps him in cuffs for being a jackass and flooding the text tip line.

weird, this post didn't show up in my RSS until 10:30 this morning...

You can't help but wonder if the Cycling Loser, in the event his stupid riding habits get him in an accident, would then sue the city when his EMT services were delayed, in part because his Junior Douchebaggery overtaxed police and rescue resources.

@glasswindow

me too in google reader

Wow! People aren't agreeing 100% with the douchebag cyclist? I thought the consensus here was "Two wheels good, four wheels baaaaadd!"

yes, two wheels good.

and the city is planning on restriping that block to make the wrong-way cyclists' movement legal. too bad they haven't done it already.

But no wheels is best. Get your lazy fat asses off those bicycles and walk. You think your bike has no carbon footprint? They weren't constructed by hand! Lots and lots of oil goes into the production of bicycles. And as for the ones that were made in China, which is most of them these days, Chinese babies were used in their construction!
