Hey Elisabeth! Welcome to the sports world, I'm guessing this is your first time around. Just a quick beginner lesson, the Santa Claus thing happened in the 60s, and it was because the man playing Santa was drunk and being obnoxious to kids. Secondly, football is played on a football field in Philadelphia (crazy, I know) and baseball (especially NLDS playoff baseball :) is played on a separate field. So I'm confused as to why what happened on a baseball field in the early 80s is relevant to Sunday's game? I mean, it's easy to research that it also happened at the Vet in the early 80s at a football game, where the batteries were inside snowballs, but who wants to do actual journalistic research? Obviously not anyone who just wants to recycle tired, 40-year-old stereotypes.

If you look at the rhyme scheme, fly and victory don't have to rhyme. In sordid version, though, die should rhyme with white, and it doesn't.
