Go Home Already: Circus Act

• A woman was found stabbed to death in an apparent robbery attempt this morning in Bloomingdale. She was waiting at a bus stop when she was attacked at around 7 a.m.
• Metro has fired the bus driver involved in last month's fatal accident with a taxi van.
• Stocks went back up at the end of the day today, but this was still the worst week ever for the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500.
• Shaw restaurant Veranda has been approved for sidewalk seating.
• Don't forget about all the Navy Day events going on tomorrow at the Navy Yard.
• The tipline was buzzing earlier over something that sounded like an air raid siren... but we didn't hear it and we're still not sure what was going on. Anybody know?
