Via the Post, the Secret Service arrested a Baltimore man this morning after he scaled the fence at the White House just as President Bush was returning from a visit to GOP headquarters to rally the troops for McCain. Kevin Peterson, 23, managed to climb the fence on the south side of the White House around 11:30 a.m. He was unarmed, and was arrested almost immediately.

Obviously the response to this ped-terrorist will be to close the Northwest quadrant to vehicular traffic.
You wouldn't have this problem if they'd just implement random sidewalk searches of pedestrians to see if they have legs in their pants and hands on their arms. There's your means, motive, and opportunity right there. Follow this with summary street executions and maybe we'd finally be safe from people who climb fences.
with the way the secret service and all those other random police groups in the fed. enclave keep throwing up more fences and barricades, we'll all have to climb over fences of some sort to get between any two places in this town at some point.
