Photo of the Day: October 16, 2008

Who else is ready for this election season recession Philadelphia baseball success Indian Summer to end?  I want to be cold at night.  I want to feel the crisp air while looking at the leaves change color.  Flick user EvinDC captures a pumpkin providing a flirtatious reminder that the temperature is about to drop and we should be out in the patches looking for round orange spheres to carve.  Your days of walking around in short sleeves are over (tomorrow).  EXIF.

8 bucks?? i got mine for 3 bucks at Eastern Market, same size too. (maybe slightly less cute)

I'll be the guy wearing a Rays hat for the next couple weeks. Happily spent $30 to piss off both Phillies and Sawwwwwwwwwwwwx fans

@Andrew --Dude, speak for yourself.

I'm up at 0500 every day for rowing practice. If it'll hold off getting cold until the end of the season, all the better. So far, it's been really nice not to freeze my balls off every morning.

Then again... if it will get cold enough this winter to kill all of the damn mosquitos, it can snow tomorrow.

So not only is that pumpkin a whore, it's an expensive one. This will only get worse as the recession drags on. I predict $10 clusters of slutty tomatoes in our future.

Well, hello there cute & fresh. Rwoaarr!

... and stay away from those sleazy zucchinis! I hear they give you STDs.

Andrew Chriss: Move North and quit your bitching.

Kev29: don't count your chickens just yet buddy.

I'd be more worried about those kuwquats. Everyone knows most of them are on the down low, banging eachother in afterhours fruitcarts and behind mulberry bushes. But it's totally not gay if you don't kiss on the mouth!

yes, andrew, its time for you to move north.

it's DEFINITELY chilly in the AMs here, but it's in the 70's by the afternoon in philly.

besides, trading the nats for the phils ain't half bad right about now.

andrew: as opposed to unround spheres?

i am confused.

Hey, I'm so glad my photo got selected! You can also see it on my blog, evmaroon.wordpress.com . . . .
