Lando Calrissian Campaign HQ is D.C.'s Metro Tunnels

This video is apropos of not a whole lot, but it's pretty funny, and considering how many hardcore Star Wars nerds we have among the commentariat, it seemed worth posting. Keep an eye on the backdrop of candidate Calrissian's first-person interviews!

Lando Calrissian has my vote. He undercharged us for beer at Pharmacy Bar on Friday night.

I don't care what he does with Hans Solo, as long as he gives me free beer.

That is some funny shizzle!

As long as he's not a slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindler, I'll vote for him!

I've just made a deal that will keep the Empire out of here for 4 years.

He's a war hero too. He's famous for his maneuver at the Battle of Tanaab.

That's a good point Monkey, Calrissian is a flip-flopper. He made a deal with Vader to hand over Chewbacca and Leia to the Imperial authorities and then went back on his word. And he then joined the Rebellion! Is that really what we want in the Imperial Palace on Coruscant?

And his military record at the Battle of Tanaab is overblown. It was against pirates. You don't see Bush trumpeting that he beat up the Somali pirates, do you?

i lala love the dc metro cameo. lando, you got my vote!

comment of the month for monkey there. i just about spit out my lunch!
