Which Jurisdiction Has the Best 'I Voted' Stickers?
DCist Music Editor Amanda Mattos snapped some photos of the various 'I Voted' stickers represented in her office. D.C.'s sticker seems kinda lame compared to most of the rest of these, doesn't it? And don't forget to take advantage of the many freebies available around town today if you're wearing an 'I Voted' sticker.
UPDATE: Elevated from the comments: the Post reports that all those giveaways targeted at people sporting an 'I Voted' sticker may violate the law, so most participating companies are just giving out goodies to everyone, regardless of whether they voted today.

My DC sticker is different - flag instead of checkbox.
I'm about as pro-immigrant and pro-bilingual as they come, but even I find those English/Spanish stickers to be a little strange.

Actually it turns out a lot of those freebie deals are available to everyone, sticker or no sticker. There's some Scrooge McDuck out there who said it violates voting laws somehow, so they're just giving stuff away to anyone.

i vote for the montgomery and prince george's county sticker. aside from aesthetic issues, i found the stickiness of the DC sticker to be inadequate. i was totally bummed when, like another commenter, my hard-earned sticker evacuated my coat less than a block from the poll!

I'm finding the different "I voted" stickers helpful.
No more awkward, "hey, wanna grab a drink? oh... wait... you live in *insert random suburb here*...?"

They had the "I Voted" stickers with the checked box in the large state where I grew up and spent much of my adult life. I remember being stunned when I moved here and saw the variety of different voting stickers -- in my mind, there was some Federal sticker that was used everywhere. So I like them all, but I still think that one looks the best.

as a first time voter i was expecting to an i voted sticker in my absentee ballot.
*sniff* AND IIIIII DIDDDDDN'T.
but being from fake virginia, my vote probably didn't count anyway.

The stickers from Alexandria are actually scratch and sniff.
They smell like hope, which in turn smells vaguely like bananas apparently...

Mine is like the White House version, but I have the presidential seal in the center instead.

I want one of the stickers that says "I voted. Yo, vote!"

My absentee ballot from North Carolina came complete with a Classic, All-American "I Voted" sticker (waving American flag and all).

Obviously it's one of the four McCain supporters in the DC area complaining about the "I Voted" giveaway. All of their supporters have already voted absentee (probably from Iraq), so they don't want anyone else being encouraged to vote.

i felt so proud before i read this post.
i just got the crappy dc sticker.
maybe i should move.

I voted absentee, so I made my own to get in on the fun:

My sticker is a kind discount version of the P.G. county sticker - it would've been cooler if they added the "Yo Vote" like they did four years ago. Apparently some people are getting mad at businesses giving out free "election day" swag too. I say these people must hate free donuts and coffee.

Can anyone tell me please where I can find "I voted with the President over 90% of the time" stickers ...

dc ought to make stickers with the city outline on them for next time around

I voted absentee in Illinois. My ballot came with the same item in-person voters get after voting: a slip of paper serving as a 'receipt'. No stickers for anyone. Lame.

How about some "I voted, but not for a Congressional Representative" stickers. (Someone help me out, this is a bit wordy.)
I mean, I know that the race for Shadow Senator has heated up a bit, but when your candidate's biggest responsibility is bringing some hot interns to the next convention, there is something lacking.
Glad to see everyone's Fired Up!!!! Ready to go!!!
Yes we can!!!

At least the DC ones are economical -- the Loudoun/Alexandria "I voted 2008 presidential election stickers" are apparently $12 for a roll of 1,000 (michiganelectionresources.com) while the DC style is about $3.80 per 1,000. (electionstickers.com)

And the "2008 presidential election" stickers can only be used today - not very green...
