"It's not fair that our stupid people have to travel all the way to West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware to throw away their money! We need to have slots here in Maryland so that their stupidity benefits our state rather than our neighbors.

Eventually we'll have slots everywhere. Why not install a slot machine in every home? We'll just pump our loose change into it, the government will take half of it, we'll get to "win" every so often. What entertainment--fun for the whole family.

the people of maryland are going to whinge and bitch when they find that this isn't the magic fairy dust that it was sold to them as, and it doesn't single-handedly fix their economy. maybe!

And by "slot machine" they mean "your momma." I still don't see what the big deal is. It's not like there's much else to do in Worcester County anyway, except guzzle their damn sauce in tough-guy drinking contests. Whoever vomits first loses. Seems to me slots is much less painful and stinky way to spend your time in Worcester County while you're waiting around to die.
