The problem with PG banning the sale of single cigars is that it runs completely counter to their "Smoke Blunts, Not Brothas" campaign. I predict a comparable rise in youth violence. Won't someone think of the children?

Is there weed in Hell? In Hell there's nothing but weed. And everybody involved in the bureaucracy is high all the time and drives way under the speed limit. You can't get anything done. They're lying around on couches watching cartoons and eating Cool Ranch Doritos and nobody cleans the toilet. The fridges are empty except for condiments, the milk is spoiled, there's no clean underwear. But there are stacks and stacks of empty pizza boxes everywhere and you will never find that check for $75 your mom sent. The place stinks, nobody vacuums, the floor is covered with broken glass bongs and you can only find one shoe. But there's always plenty of weed, so we're cool, right?

Steve, When it comes to criminalizing the sale of something, to no positive effect, vs. doing nothing. I think doing nothing comes out looking better. Can you disagree? Or are you for willy nilly criminilizing stuff until something works out? Your "criminalizing things, even if we know it has no positive effect, is better than doing nothing" comment scares the hell out of me. Why restrict that one person who really just wants one legal tobacco smoke after a bad day, or after legally getting smashed on jagermeister up the street, and does not want a whole pack of crap cigars lying around the house- I am sure there is one legit user, out of the 50,000 who just pack em with weed.

What's actually laughable is that the blogger and those commenting think doing NOTHING is a better solution. Do I think it's a good law? No. But simply because I don't think the gov't should have role in determining what businesses can and can't sell and in what quantities. But at least the law has good intentions and isn't aimed at simply generating more revenue as are most laws passed today.
