- Turns out a lot of Washingtonians were so excited about the Obama election that they felt the need to reach out and touch each other.
- NPR has named former NYTimes.com general manager Vivian Schiller as their president and CEO.
- Add one more win in the House for the Democrats: Frank Kratovil declared victory today in his contest against Republican Andy Harris in the 1st District race in Queen Anne's County, Md.
