crowdsource? we get together, buy this, and brand it "commentariats"?
Hmmm...refrigerators and deep fryer but no stove? No wonder they can't meet their food requirement.
That joint is sketch.
Hey - you can't really beat a rate of $9/hr for billiards. I hope they find a way to keep that seedy place alive.
God, can you imagine how insufferable a dcist-owned bar would be? Between the jukebox full of theremin bands that nobody's heard of and the kids throwing rocks at your head, you've got a recipe for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Just skip the middle man and go straight to gourmet dog biscuit and $5 sci-fi-themed cupcake shop with some stupid name like "Bake Me To Your Leader." But then you'd have to deal some ANC councilman complaining about the dog poop and the outdoor stripper pole and the aging punks shaving obscenities into their dogs. You can't win in this town. Just give up and move to Barstow. Or to hell.
Kokopoolis is great! It's dirty nasty and everything a real pool bar ought to be.
monkey: bake me to your leader? that's f'in awesome!
