AND VIRGINIA DURING THE MID AFTERNOON THROUGH EVENING HOURS. LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS UP TO A HALF INCH OF SNOWFALL ARE POSSIBLE...BUT ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE MAINLY ON UNPAVED SURFACES. IF PAVEMENT TEMPERATURES FALL BELOW FREEZING OR MORE ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED...A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MAY BE ISSUED. Saw some flurries at 17th and U at noon.

Some signification flurry action today on Benning Road.
I (+ some classmates) saw some hardly visible flurries between one and two today during school (right outside of Old Town), then proceeded to get into an argument about whether it was enough to warrant even calling it 'snow.'
I may be full of hate, but damn I love that little cat and his/her sayings. Is it a boy cat or girl cat? I always assume a she-cat with a german accent. Can we have a dcist profile of said kitty-cat?

I saw a flamboyant gay man riding up 17th Street on a Segway with a parrot on each shoulder. That was a few weeks ago, but I still thought it was worth sharing.
It was snowing like mad in Rockville this morning when I got on the metro (around 8:45).
I foresee a cold, snowy winter. We've had such a mild year so far, and no big snows in the past several years. We're overdue.
