Very cool and really interested. One question. On the part "so we do ask that you live and take your photos in the general geographical area" how large of a geographical area are you talking? I live down in Fredericksburg but take a lot of shots in D.C. and commute there often (even had a couple used by the DCist). I'd like to submit some shots I have of the D.C. area but was curious if I was outside the geographic boundaries? Thanks!

Yeah, we've never really had a date restriction beyond "reasonable." (i.e. If your photo looks really dated, it's unlikely we'll choose it.) I don't even care if you've submitted it before, though of course if we didn't choose it last time....you know. Anything in the last few years is totally reasonable.

Are there date restrictions on the photos submitted? That is, can I submit a photo I shot way back in May, provided that is has not been submitted to Exposed before?
