I think the song was perfect. As for the first comment that was made. Sean Taylor was not paid tribute just because he was a great player. It was because he was a special person to his family, friends, team mates and fans. He inspired my son to work hard to achieve his goal to be a NFL player when he grows up. Because of how he viewed Sean Taylor as a person not the player he put his class work first and strives for perfection in everything that he does. You must remember that he was not just a good football player he was a son, a father, and a friend to many people. He was not only in excelling as a player but also as young man that was turning his life around. I am sure that you also know someone that was taking from you who had the same traits. Don't think of it as a tribute to a football player. It is a tribute to a Young man who was special to many people. A young man who's life was taken too soon. It's not about the player it is about the man.

aboveNYaveNE Sean Taylor is someone worth looking up to, for children and teenagers and adults alike, because he used his athletic ability on the field to become a better person off the field -- to turn his life around, get himself straightened out, and start being a real father. He would have become a great role model in that sense had his life not been cut short. It's not just about sports.

2 things: 1. Wale's manager announced this summer via his blog (www.elitaste.com) that Wale signed to interscope, not "rock-a-fella" 2. which brings me to number 2: rocafella. Also, just to be annoying/hip hop followerish, the status of rocafella as an active label has been unclear ever since Jay was def jam CEO, but it is possible that its now back as a "real" label now that he stepped down.

His death was tragic, just like anyone who is murdered, but he's only a football player. People should look up to those that make a real difference in people's lives, not because someone who can play a sport really well.
