I love Wheaton's eclectic culture (and Anacostia has some wonderful cultural assets as well--that are equally underecognized and undervalued by non-residents). The Montgomery Cinema N Drafthouse was a fabulous addition to the Wheaton-area community. The business was reportedly evicted by the same entity that owed it a substantial chunk of money. good point. this reminds me of the restaurant on the corner of georgia and missouri that closed after only a couple months. any startup has to assume operations in the red for a while. they must have looked at the numbers and decided that there was no way to pull even with that operation, and just cut it off before throwing more good money after bad.
