True enough - he does come across as a pompous turd, although his dig on The Prodigy cracked me up. (ie, his comment about how amazing The Prodigy sounded, with all their instruments ... then cut to a shot of him strumming and repeatedly singing "Smack my b*tch up" in a monotone ... comic gold).

Leafblower, I am one hundred percent sincere when I say I think it's awesome that you remain so enthusiastic a superfan after your 21 shows. (There are a handful of acts I've seen a double-digit number of times, but I haven't seen anybody perform that much.) It would be pretty cynical, I think, to do what we do if you weren't superfan of somebody. I'm glad the show delivered the goods for you.

And they’ve never improved upon it, which you probably know, too, whether you want to admit it or not. I do not. I actually prefer WTSMG to the debut. Great review Chris. Hard to argue with anything you wrote. Although I would add there were some real highlights: "The Masterplan" "Shock of the Lightning" and "Falling Down" being three. According to the security guys I talked to, Oasis drew a much, much larger crowd than 3 Doors Down two nights earlier. Venue was half empty for the "citizen soldiers". Almost packing the Patriot Center is nothing to sneeze at these days. Tickets were not cheap. And yes, cyrinaldi, the captions are for real, except the "Are you not entertained" one and the "Where my city fans at" one.

i thought the captions to the photos were real. and i'm still not entirely sure they aren't. this is the ultimate sadness. if you watch the coachella documentary (2006), you will develop a real distaste for noel gallagher. they cut between him and saul williams speaking about youth, art and idealism. noel is basically satan. you can quote me on that.

Indeed he does, Sean Jean. Sorry 'bout that. I missed the first couple numbers of Adams' set, so I didn't write it up. What I heard sounded terrific, though. I just wish he would have played "Cuts Like a Knife." Calm down, it was only a joke. One that will never, ever stop being funny.
