Downtown Dust Cloud?

WJLA says there is a scary cloud of noxious dust coming from a construction site at 17th and H Streets NW. We confess we haven't noticed such a cloud, but at least a few workers in the area are complaining of symptoms like burning eyes and difficulty breathing, according the report. Have any of you noticed this?

I love how they quote Mr. Griffith (the store owner) and use his "asbestos" quote. As if the proprietor of a retail store is somehow an expert on the issue. Isn't 17th and H where the new PNC Bank headquarters building is being constructed?

There's a 0% chance the "dust cloud" contains any asbestos. Hell, pedestrians are more likely to be exposed to asbestos from the brakes on Metro buses than they are from a "dust cloud" at a construction site in downtown DC.

Yeah, ya gotta love the man on the street "expert" opinions.

That's the same cloud that killed the crew of the USS Farragut! We'll need an antimatter bomb, but make sure Spock cross circuits to "B." Crazy way to travel, spreading a man's molecules across the Universe!
