This is why we can't have snow.

If your place of occupancy falls within one of the affected areas, you might not be able to read this. Though readers in D.C. and NoVA neighborhoods reported only a fleeting encounter with this morning's wintry-mix squall, mild outages have been reported across the region. Some continue to experience brief service interruptions. Pepco's site offers continuously updated information. How's the electro where you live?

Um, and I am sure continuing 40+ mile per hour winds flinging around trees and power lines (which are leading to road closures and injuries) have nothing to do with power outages... it was that short lived snow that you probably missed if you blinked.

The Pepco color coding system is even more confusing the Homeland Security Threat Level system colors.

It's only out in that hellhole otherwise known as Del Ray.

Hmm the L'Enfant city part of DC has a ban on overhead wires, all utility wires are run underground. Notice a correlation with where there are no outages? Advantage: DC.

Power is still out in parts of 20850 at 5:30 pm.
