The new Organic to Go location opening at 1700 K St. NW will be offering a number of free items with purchase during its inaugural week. All of Organic To Go's fare is made with organic ingredients whenever possible. Hopefully it will provide a healthy balance to all the office sweets that are circulating during the holiday season.
- Monday, Dec. 15 - FREE Steaz beverage with any purchase
- Tuesday, Dec 16 - FREE Half Sandwich with any soup purchase
- Wednesday, Dec. 17 - FREE Honest Tea with any purchase
- Thursday, Dec. 18 - FREE Side Salad with any sandwich or soup purchase
- Friday, Dec. 19 - FREE Coffee, Espresso or Hot Tea from 6:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m.

im going to start an anti-organic food mart to offset all the goodily goodness of the organic marts.
Yeah, I've been to the one by Metro Center a couple of times, and the sandwiches are less than special, the employees are always really confused, and the drinks are pricey.
BUT-- there salad bar is really good, and no costlier than the twenty others around here ($7.99/lb, I believe). It usually includes grilled salmon and other higher-end ingredients.
hey, i'm happy to see a new lunch place in the area. a year and a half in this office, and i always end up at the same places.
Carn: "anti-organic food mart," they call that place 7-Eleven, oh and 99.9999% of all the "food-marts" in existence.
There is an Organic To Go on the first floor of my building, 15th & K Street, and that place is horrible. High prices, bland food, complete chaos when ordering. However, the guys who work there are really nice and after 2pm all their pre-made sandwiches are 1/2 off.
