Go Home Already: Abandon All Hope

• Two high-rise apartment buildings have been evacuated due to a reported two-alarm fire in the 2300 block of Good Hope Road SE.
• The Washington Post plans to deliver 2.7 million issues of its special Inauguration Day edition over the course of two days. That's going to be no small feat considering the transportation issues paper carriers will face next week.
• Etan Thomas has a torn MCL in his left knee and will be out indefinitely, the Wizards announced today, as if things weren't already about as bad as they could get for the team.
• You can get a preview of some of the tacky, mass-produced inaugural tchotchkis heading our way for sale by some 500 street vendors at Amazon's Obama store. I know I'll be on the lookout for more shirts like these.
• Prince of Petworth spots a new women's clothing store, ZiZi Boutique, in Adams Morgan.
• Groan. After launching some House and Senate hubs on YouTube earlier this week, Speaker Nancy Pelosi actually rickrolled the Capitol today. Even more embarrassing, her office felt the need to add in captions explaining what a rickroll is. Can we finally put the last nail in this coffin?
