The George Washington University GW Hatchet blog is reporting that sophomore Laura Treanor was found dead in her room in the university's Ivory Tower residence hall this morning. Treanor was the The Hatchet student newspaper's contributing Life editor. Initial reports indicate that the death was not a homicide or a suicide, and that the death is not being investigated as suspicious. Treanor was discovered this morning by a roommate.

Very sad.
8 months after I graduated undergrad from GW...
Very sad, indeed. Big deal for sophomores to find housing in that upperclassman dorm.
Like the comments section of the Hatchet blog reads, "Any death of a 19 year old is a suspicious death" I hope this gets investigated fully.
Someone with a properly maintained and piloted TARDIS would be well poised to fully investigate. I'm just sayin'.
Thank you! Too bad my chameleon circuit is faulty and has been stuck on a London police box ever since I visited there in 1963.
The Agatha Christie episode from last season showed some true murder mystery solving prowess. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Unicorn_and_the_Wasp )
Perhaps I'm focusing on the wrong thing here, but there is an Ivory Tower at GWU? Really?
My thoughts exactly when it had been first erected. But, yeah. Believe it.
The ladies used to enjoy my erect Ivory Tower at GW.
Oohoo! Touché!
And since this is GW we're talking about, the exterior is actually covered in a veneer of genuine elephant tusk ivory.
Ivory Tower is a dorm on campus. It can house about 700 students. (I'm a GW alum - very sad to hear of the loss)
Ummmmm. I feel a little uncomfortable now with the words The Hatchet when reading about colleges and universities.
Someone died. Class?
