hoo boy! the people in foggy bottom/the west end are gonna be pissed about that grocery store. they were all so convinced that they'd get something upscale (whole foods at least) in the square 54 space.

...aye there's the rub....

And boo hoo. There's a Trader Joe's at 25th and L. There's a Whole Foods at 15th and P.

It's way better than Senior Safeway.

Great pic. Anyone who's ever Metro'd home from downtown after a night of bingeing has BEEN that pic. Nausea cam is in the house!

This Giant thing is the type what causes insurrections among the cognoscenti of West End. I can just hear their monocles falling into their cocktail glasses. Would not want to be in Giant's shoes when the spats and walking sticks come flying their way.

If only Giant would train their employees to be polite like the cashiers at Trader Joes. Now, that's what I call service. The line could be 25 people strong at Trader Joes
and with their skillful choreographing, the line is gone in
10 minutes. Giant, on the other hand...10 people in line and a 25 minute wait.

yeah. as a foggy bottom resident, i would prefer something else. because giant stinks. but that hole in the ground isn't going to be ready for years anyway.
