>> A Frederick County, Md., woman charged with giving alcohol to a teenager got off on a technicality: she was convicted under the wrong statute. In a separate incident three years ago, she was convicted on a reckless endangerment charge for allowing three kids to ride in her car's trunk on a hot day. Clearly, good judgment is not her strong suit. [NBC Washington]

>> A man injured a Southern Maryland woman over the weekend when he installed a sex toy onto a saber saw blade and then proceeded to use the power tool on her. The blade cut through the plastic toy and it's not a stretch to figure out what else the blade probably cut through. Painful as that injury had to be, it reminds one immediately of a certain Heathers quote. [WUSA]

Oh, so that's what Kriston was talking about. Yeah, that's just...wow. Ouuuuuuch.
Holy Cow where shall we begin?
Lawyers on the Web ~ "...debate over how private Web sites can use public information..." Like that YouTube video of your drunken groping of that underage girl, once it is on the Web, it is on the Web forever.
...woman charged with giving alcohol to a teenager... ~ This woman sounds like fun, and what else is there to do in Thurmont?
...Metro fares are on par with inflation. ~ They only go up. For them to match the inflation rate they have to go either way. (Much like you in the rest of that YouTube video.)
dogs shocking sidewalks ~ Maybe Pecpo you might want to check for this condition on a wet salty sidewalk, not one from the sunny 70 degree day we had today. (BTW Fredo, nice use of the word "conducting".)
Woman Injured In Sex Toy Mishap ~ A "saber saw"? Really? This clearly is a job for a reciprocating saw.
A saber saw is a type of reciprocating saw.
You are correct. I was thinking jigsaw vs. reciprocating saw, but they both can be considered saber saws.
This Old Home: A sabre saw, also known as a jigsaw, is great for cutting curves and circles. But its narrow blade and slender shoe make it virtually useless for cutting straight lines unless you use a guide fence.
Thanks
Measure twice cut once, has a whole new meaning.
This is what happens when you allow your domestic dildo sharpening industry to export all its production to China. You have no one to blame but yourself.
But you have to admit. There's not much else to do in Southern Maryland, what with the Zeikiah Swamp Monster (or "eelpoot") being hunted to extinction. The dildo fatalities should be stacking up like cordwood in the Hughesville coroner's basement.
To quote one of my friends when I sent him this story yesterday, "she may be badly hurt, but that has to be the Happiest Sawzall ev-aaaahhhhhh!!!!!!"
Re: the "Heathers" quote, you may want to inform your readers that the link takes you right to a video that immediately plays. Oops, too late!
What, you never went for a "trunk ride" when you were a kid?
Everyone knows that a hammer drill would have been the proper tool to use, not the Sawzall!
I have to wonder.. do lawyers understand why they're hated?
This is similar to when West claimed they had a copyright on court opinions. Hopefully the Court won't be fooled for 12 years this time around...
Did the Maryland woman not see "Seven"?
