>> Then, head up 11th Street to Logan's Circle for The Art Registry at the Providence 11th Street Lofts. This art show collaboration with Willco Residential, urbanpace and The Pink Line Project, will feature works by DECOY, Eve Hennessa, Susan Noyes, Mary Ott, Cory Oberndorfer, Andres Tremols, and Colin Winterbottom. 6:30 to 9 p.m.
>> Our own Heather Goss' Ten Miles Square and Honfleur Gallery present Flaunt: Photography & Fashion Collaboration, a special exhibition showcasing four fashion photographers and four fashion designers. The opening, on Saturday at 7 p.m., will feature new fashion portrait work and will be followed by a runway show June 6.
>> This weekend, The O Street Studios hosts open studios for their artists. Mix and mingle with the talent and enjoy refreshments, music and interactive activities while viewing the living and working space of over 20 D.C. artists. Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

>> Saturday, Pyramid Atlantic hosts a one-night art exhibition featuring the work of Tom Block, benefiting Amnesty International USA. The evening will showcase new work by Block and former Amnesty International “prisoner of conscience” General Jose Gallardo of Mexico, who was the subject of one of Block’s paintings; Block and Gallardo will meet for the first time at the event. 6 p.m.
>> Flashpoint opens Non-Places an exhibit of works by Trevor Young. The exhibit will showcase one hundred paintings of generic spaces, such as freeways, hotel rooms, airports and supermarkets, evoking feelings of familiarity and unease. Saturday 6 p.m.
>> Fabrication of Blindness/Fabricating Rain at Transformer closes Saturday. This is your last chance to partake in hand-embroidering detainee-written narratives and poetry onto hoods made of U.S. military issue sandbags.
>> The Katzen Arts Center at American University celebrates three exhibits tonight with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Take in the diverse works found in the American University Art Department: Student Exhibitions, Behind the Velvet Curtain: Contemporary Art from the Czech Republic, and Robin Rose: Cypher.
>> Monday, enjoy wine and art at the M Bar at Renaissance M Street Hotel for the launch of The Corcoran College of Art and Design’s rotating student art exhibition at the Hotel. Put a CORC in It! previews The Corcoran College of Art and Design’s All-Senior Exhibition, which will run May 6 through 25 within several galleries throughout the Corcoran. 6 to 8 p.m.
>> Civilian Art Projects presents a benefit for the Young Women's Drumming Empowerment Project on Sunday. Take part in a performance and drum circle to benefit the organization that strives to give rise to young women's voices through drumming, poetry, movement, song and performance. 7 p.m., $10.
>> If dance performance is more your cup of tea, then get yourself to the Torpedo Factory tonight for a free performance. BosmaDance and Torpedo Factory artist Rosemary Feit Covey present a preview performance of Eternal Return and additional repertory pieces inspired by the work of Torpedo Factory artists. >> On Saturday, the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop presents new choreography by Alvin Mayes in an informal one-hour concert featuring dance and music. 7 p.m. $10 suggested donation.
