Christopher Dinwiddie, the owner of popular Edgewood carryout Catfish Fridays, was arrested today on charges of operating without a license and failing to pay more than $175,000 in sales taxes. The business, located at 2312 Fourth St. NE, had actually been shut down by the city since January due to the sales tax dispute, but police allege that Dinwiddie had quietly reopened the eatery off the books, prompting today's arrest.
