Washington, D.C. receives a beautiful saturation of color whenever a big storm sweeps through town, but if you think we're going with a rainy shot after our tumultuous walk into work this morning, well, it isn't happening. Instead, we're also eschewing your obvious love of the Flaming Lips for something that reminds us of the lovely day we had on Saturday. Every single part of this photo taken by thombo2 at Eastern Market -- between the faded stars, the sun-drenched blacktop, and the sharp angled shadows -- is helping us forget that our socks are, sadly, still sopping wet.
