DDOT reports that H Street NE has been closed between 5th and 7th Streets due to a gas main break. The gas leak is reportedly at 624 H Street NE, right outside the H Street Self Storage building. Traffic is being detoured around the area.

I dunno, Deep. If I recall, natural gas is the only weapon us above-ground dwellers have against the CHUDs.
It was never proven that natural gas was a CHUD deterrent.

They keep digging and digging and digging that stretch of H street. 4th and H has been dug up and paved over and dug up and paved over so many times in the last couple of years it's become a game to predict when the next drilling team is coming by.
