Looks like someone took it upon themselves to re-post all those interior shots of the D.C. Real World house on Picasa. We're not sure who did it and the labels indicating what each room will be used for are gone, but go ahead and check 'em out in case you missed the chance after they were pulled down yesterday.
In other Real World updates: we've heard crews were moving some furniture into the house at 2000 S Street NW today; WJLA picked up the story; everyone's linking to The Anti-Real World DC, so we will too; and, via Borderstan, there's now a Facebook group, of course.

I can't be the only one who never wants to read another story involving the Real World house unless it uses the phrase "flames engulfed"
Agreed!
Where's ceiling cat?
Man, Sorg really effed up that house! I hate to say this, but anything MTV does to it can only be an improvement.
Not the first time a queen anne manse was poorly updated, for sure. But I wouldn't look to Real World to bridge the gap in 125 years of taste.
less queen anne, more hh richardson, i think.
Not surprising if you're familiar with their work.
That looks like my garage.
suburban elitist
Suburban yes. I'm not so sure about the elitist label HCE. I work to afford the things I enjoy, and to the best of my memory I never had anything handed to me.
My comment was less about the size of my garage and more about a "home" which has no more character than a garage. Sure it will get chic furniture, and "real people" will drink the latest "in drinks", but just off camera there will be no soul.
My garage, while it would be too much to say it has a soul, does have the fruits of my labor, and it serves its purpose.
Sorry, my sarcasm button was not working.
We are cool.

What MTV has done to a DC treasure is sickening.
