Local Sibling Rivalry on Top Chef Season 6

topcheflogo_48521.jpg Last season, we were excited to see our hometown gal Carla Hall make it to the top three on Bravo's Top Chef. This year, we have three chefs with local ties to cheer for. First, we get some sibling rivalry between brothers Bryan and Michael Voltaggio. Will they pair up to take down the others or fight it out from the very start? Bryan is the chef-owner of Volt in Frederick, and was formerly at Charlie Palmer Steak. Michael now serves at the chef de cuisine at Jose Andres' Bazaar in Los Angeles. Rounding out the three is Mike Isabella, who is the executive chef at Zaytinya. One thing is for sure with this season. We'll have a good bunch to root for, and Jose Andres is going to be raking in some big money with all the publicity. Season 6 premieres Wednesday, August 26.

Actually, Michael is not with the Bazaar anymore. He left a few months ago and was replaced by Jorge Chicas from Zaytinya. Just an FYI.

Well he's still coasting on the fact that he worked at Bazaar because it's in his Top Chef bio.

It might be his bio from when he applied/taped the show, since I know they started taping a few months ago. They also list two different restaurants for the Acme Chophouse chef. Perhaps he left because of the outcome of the competition though.

Well I just wish Bryan, Michael and Mike good luck! I know these three will give us pride and whoever be the winner I will be always proud of them. Go guys! Let us see your superb dishes! In relation to food issues Chik-Fil-A dressed as cows get a free meal. Chick-Fil-A is a popular restaurant chain, and it's primarily located in malls across the US in 37 states, and it's routinely hailed as the healthiest of the fast food franchises. The company website even has a costume blueprint you can download for free, or you can create your own. It's only a $10 combo, so a loan 'til payday might be ill advised, but it's still a free meal from Chick-Fil-A.
