  • Mayor Fenty has rescheduled his press conference on the King Solomon Grand Lodge for Thursday morning. We note that the announcement very slightly reframes it as a decision to shutdown the go-go club operated out the lodge, instead of the entire enterprise.
  • A former D.C. police officer is among a dozen men charged in a massive cocaine ring in southern Maryland. Darrell Alphonso Carter, 42, was on the force from 1990 through 2002, when he resigned, presumably because dealing blow pays better than law enforcement.
  • In "holy crap" science news, it appears there is now a cure for color blindness, which we can only hope will lead to a kick-ass PBS documentary about colorblind people, before and after.
  • The U.S. Senate would like you to be able to bring your gun with you on Amtrak.
  • A new poll shows that a majority of Washingtonians are in favor of health-care reform. We could have told you that.
  • The Redskins' Mike Sellers got a contract extension, which probably means something but maybe not. Who knows, it's the Redskins!
