Signs of Campaign 2010 Kicking Into Gear

2009_0908_campaign.jpg Over the long weekend, DCist spotted the first yard sign we've seen so far for D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty's re-election campaign. This sign, with its trademark Fenty green, was planted in front of a home in the Logan Circle neighborhood. We've also seen a few blue and white Clark Ray for D.C. Council At-large signs popping up outside businesses in the Dupont Circle neighborhood's 17th Street corridor.

Have you seen any other signs of the 2010 campaign starting up already? The Democratic primary, otherwise known as the election that really counts for the most part in the District, is set for September 14, 2010, just a little over a year away, with the general election on November 2.

man this is old news. i had one of these back in AUGUST!

That's nice. Now tell me where you live so I can come over and poop on it.

Since Fenty seemingly has this one in the bag, I wish he'd market himself virally with some internet memes. Something like 'All your dog park are belong to us' or 'In Soviet Russia, Fenty votes you'.

Would be nice if someone ran against him though. Fenty more or less blows.

I like how Fenty's green matches the girl's dress in the American Apparel sidebar...

Debatable who is/has the bigger ass.

targeted advertising is way more sophisticated than you think.

Are the sidebar ads IE only or something? I don't get them in Firefox and never know what people are talking about when they mention them.

You have adblock activated in FF.

Somehow I have trouble equating her and Fenty's rump.
