D.C. police today released a pair of photos and a composite sketch of a man they believe to be responsible for a bevy of crimes across the city in the last month. Among the crimes police are attributing to this one guy are the robberies and/or car jackings of six different taxi cab drivers in the month of September alone, plus the Sept. 22 armed robbery of the Lowest Price Gas Station in the 2800 block of 12th Street NE.

The suspect is described as a medium to dark complexioned black male, approximately 35 to 40 years of age, standing between 5’9” and 5’11” in height. He has a thin build and a goatee.

The MPD is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these cases is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or 1-888-919-CRIME. Anonymous tips can be made by calling 1-866-411-TIPS or text messaging to 50411.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Prosecutors intend to charge President Moshe Katsav with rape and other crimes against female employees, the Justice Ministry said on Tuesday, in what would be an unprecedented indictment against an Israeli head of state.

Katsav has denied wrongdoing. The scandal is unlikely to have a direct impact on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert -- who has himself been hurt politically by a string of investigations into suspected corruption, which he has denied.
