Thursday:
>> Quickly becoming a favorite spot for DJs, Litlle Miss Whiskey's Golden Dollar (1104 H Street NE) will be the venue for Adrian Loving and DJ Stylus as they host a pre-Halloween party, "A Funky Space Halloween." Space funk-themed costumes are highly encouraged. Free, 9 p.m.

Saturday:
>> Philly vocalist Jaguar Wright makes her way to The Scene for an intimate set. Joining her will be the D.C. area's own Alison Carney (pictured). $20 in advance, 7 p.m.

>> It seems fitting that Cypress Hill would be doing a Halloween show. Luckily for fans of the Cali group, they'll be at the 9:30 Club for the night. As an extra bonus, if you show up with the best costume, you'll win two tickets to every 9:30 Club show in November and December. $35, 8 p.m.

>> DJ Rekha will be joined by DJ Dredd for "Bhangraween 2009." The celebration goes down on the Black Cat's mainstage. $13-$15, 9 p.m.

Sunday:
>> Launched in relation to a documentary of the same name, the "Afro-Punk" tour brings poet/musician Saul Williams to the Black Cat, along with legendary band Living Colour. $15-$18, 8 p.m.

Monday:
>> A weekly residency, Jahsonic spins premium grade tracks at Marvin as a part of "The Main Ingredient." Free, 9 p.m.
