The medical bills of James von Brunn, the man charged with murdering security guard Stephen T. Johns at the National Holocaust Museum in June, tally a whopping $55,050 to date, according to the Associated Press. A Freedom of Information Act request to the D.C. Department of Corrections by the AP revealed that von Brunn -- who was shot by museum guards after opening fire and subsequently treated at George Washington University Hospital -- is still recovering from his wounds and other chronic ailments. von Brunn has been charged with first-degree murder, related hate crimes and gun offenses, and is currently being held without bail in U.S. Bureau of Prisons custody. The next hearing in his case is scheduled for Monday.

1. Become a senile racist batfart with severe health problems.

2. Shoot up a museum.

3. Get the Feds to pay your hospital bills.

In a related story, the Salahis have been granted therapeutic massage mani/pedi treatements to help them recover from the stress of crashing a WH party.

Yeah I'm sorry, I know the family of the victims wants some kind of courtroom justice--but honestly--what we're doing is teaching people it's okay to go in and shoot up a museum because we'll keep you alive as long as possible at the expense of the healthcare community and taxpayers so that we can parade you around through a formality of a trial that may take years! Personally, I think just letting the man die in the hospital would have been a better option--he will likely be put to death (or die of age) soon anyway, why incur additional expense for the same outcome?!

somehow, i really really really doubt that anyone is going to think, "wow, i'm going to go shoot up a museum so i can get shot in the head myself and get the bills paid for!"
