Snow Emergency in Effect Starting at 7 a.m.

The snOMG event of '09 is soon to begin. We're already hearing from people with early morning flights booked that they have been canceled. In the District, all DMV, DPR and public library facilities will be closed on Saturday, and Mayor Fenty has set a formal Snow Emergency starting at 7 a.m. -- that means you must move your car from any designated snow emergency route before then, or it will be towed.
