I Want My Food Trucks, Please

Calling all food truck enthusiasts: today is your last day to send an email to the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs in order to lodge comments for the record regarding Title 24 of Chapter 5. Here's the skinny: several businesses and business improvement districts around D.C. are hoping to restrict the areas in which food trucks are allowed to set up shop. But thanks to overwhelming positive response to the trucks, DCRA has drafted new vending regulations which would maintain some flexibility for street vendors. Those who want to have their voices heard about the proposed regulations -- either in favor or against -- are encouraged to email DCRA Legislative Assistant Helder Gil here before the day is out.
