FRIDAY
DANCE: Saffron Dance belly dance school's Egyptian Nights Summer Gala comes to the Arlington Spectrum Theatre (1611 North Kent Street) with special guests: Egyptian dancers Mohamed El Hosseny and Mohamed Shahin. Tickets are $30 in advance, or $40 at the door. 8 p.m.
MOVIES: The Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival (base of Key Bridge, 1300 Lee Highway, Arlington) presents Airheads, starring Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi, Adam Sandler and Chris Farley. 8 p.m., free.
SPORTS: Head to Nationals Park (1500 South Capital Street SE) and support a good cause at "Strike Out Alzheimer's Night" as the Nationals host Arizona. 7:05 p.m., $24.
FAIR: The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair (16 Chestnut Street, Gaithersburg) kicks off tonight and runs through Saturday, August 21st. Tonight, there will be Pig Races and Chainsaw Carver Demonstrations at 4, 6, and 8 p.m., an Antique Tractor Pull at 6 p.m., and much more. 3 p.m. to midnight. $10, children under 11 free.
MUSIC: Maroon 5 performs at Jiffy Lube Live tonight, $15-114.50, 7:00 p.m.

SATURDAY
MUSIC: Girls Rock! at the 9:30 Club (815 V Street NW) this Saturday morning. Come watch the culminating performance after these 8 to 18 year old girls have spent a week at rock camp. Judging from photos from last year, this promises to be an awesome event. 11 a.m., $10, but kids 12 and under are free.

>> Liberation Dance Party brings new music and videos to DC9 (1940 9th Street NW) $7. 9 p.m.
>> The Deadmen, Lightfoot, Sarah White and the Pearls, Brandon Butler take the stage at the Rock and Roll Hotel (1353 H Street NE). $10/12. 9 p.m.
SPORTS: Want a sports evening, but without the guys? Head over to the D.C. United Ladies Night. Before D.C. United takes on FC Dallas at 8 p.m., take in a cooking demonstration from Top Chef's Carla Hall, partake in two free beers from Corona along with free appetizers, and try to win a jersey off a D.C. United player's back. 5:30-8 p.m., $35. (Tickets include admission to the game.)
FITNESS: Forget dinner-and-a-movie: head over to Past Tense (3253 Mt. Pleasant Street NW) for Yoga Date Night. Limber up in this couple's Vinyasa-style class, then head over to Radius pizzeria (3155 Mount Pleasant Street NW) with a coupon for 50% off a bottle of wine. The class is $20 per couple.
ZOMBIES: Ever wonder how well you'd survive in a world full of zombies? Find out first hand at Survive Alexandria, a night of zombie tag put on by parkour gym Urban Evolution (5402 Eisenhower Avenue). Protect your blue glow necklaces from red glow necklaced "zombies" as you try to make it from the starting point of Oronoco Bay Park (100 Madison Street) to six check points over a five mile course. An after party, with awards and light refreshments, will be held at Urban Evolution. All proceeds will be donated to Capital Big Brothers Big Sisters. $10, 7:30 p.m.
BURLESQUE: The Palace of Wonders (1210 H Street NE) pits D.C. against New York in a Battle of the Burlesque Stars rematch. There will be physical challenges; hopefully, things don't get ugly. There will be two shows, one at 9:30 p.m. and the other at 11:30 p.m. Each are $10.
ARTS: It's the second weekend of the Arts on N Street Festival. Make your way down N Street between 7th and 9th Streets, NW, perusing work in a variety of media by D.C. artists. Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
OUTDOORS: This weekend, everyone gets in to all National Parks for free.
SUNDAY
MOVIE: Batman, Tim Burton's 1989 blockbuster starring Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as the Joker, screens at the National Harbor (137 National Plaza, Fort Washington, MD). The movie starts at sunset. Free.
MUSIC: The top six local bands from the HFSestival and California Tortilla Battle to Break Out contest perform at the 9:30 Club (815 V Street NW). $10. 11:00 a.m.
