  Very good album, but the liner notes are even better. Possibly the best album liner notes in history... I can't think of any better....

  it's terribly nitpicky and nerdy to mention this, but you can't really discuss Mono as "pioneering" soft-loud post-rock dynamics compared to Mogwai, when Mogwai was doing it years earlier......
