So maybe we were right after all about today’s Snowpocalypse. We just learned that Federal employees are getting a break today and will be dismissed at 2 p.m. The Office of Personnel Management made the announcement, citing concerns about worsening road conditions and getting their employees home safely. No word yet if Wednesday will be scrapped as well.

Grown-ups may get some company at the sledding park, as plenty of area schools are also closing early. With total accumulations estimated at 1 to 2 inches there should be just enough snow to get your boots out and throw yourself down a hill.
