Hamil Harris updates that D.C. Council member and former mayor Marion Barry was transferred out of intensive care at Howard University Hospital this morning following his kidney transplant surgery on Friday. A hospital spokesperson told D.C. Wire that Barry may be discharged as early as Thursday, while his donor, Kim Dickens, could be released as early as tomorrow. Both are expected to speak to the media as soon as they are well enough.
