Speaking of NCAA tournaments, the Frozen Four is coming to the Verizon Center starting tonight, marking the first Division 1 NCAA Championship to be hosted here in the District of Columbia. The entire championship series is already sold out, but Craigslist is absolutely bustling with scalpers and ticket traders, so if you’re hoping to go, check for deals.

Hockey teams from Miami of Ohio and the unlikely Bemidji State will meet at 5 p.m. this evening for the first semifinal, followed by Boston University versus Vermont at 8:30 p.m. The winners of those two games will face each other in the championship game on Saturday, April 11 at 7 p.m.

Metro has announced that it will stay open one hour later than normal in the event tonight’s second semifinal game runs late. If the game concludes shortly before or after midnight, Metro will remain open until 1 a.m. tonight, and additional six-car and eight-car trains will be in use to move fans out of the Gallery Place-Chinatown station on the Red, Yellow and Green lines.
