Two weeks ago, we alerted you to one local artist featured on DCist who received a Grammy nomination. We’re happy to let our readership know that another Three Star alum, Christon “Christylez” Bacon, has been recognized.

Bacon was nominated in the “Best Musical Album for Children” category for his work with Cathy & Marcy on the release, Banjo To Beatbox. The trio is up against Jonathan Sprout (American Heroes #3), Ziggy Marley (Family Time), Milkshake (Great Day), Greg & Steve (Jumpin’ and Jammin) and Buck Howdy (Pete Seeger Tribute – Ageless Kids’ Songs).
