- TPM runs down the list of people sitting with First Lady Michelle Obama tonight at the State of the Union, which includes two recent D.C. public school graduates. Incidentally, D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty will be sitting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi again this year.
- Bill Turque is seriously keepin’ it real regarding his DCPS coverage vs. the Washington Post’s editorial stance on the Rhee regime. “…DCPS has a guaranteed soft landing spot for uncomfortable or inconvenient disclosures–kind of a print version of the Larry King Show.” Brutal.

- Mike DeBonis runs down the D.C. Council special committee report on the investigation into the Sosua firetruck controversy over at City Desk. - Horrifying account of the man accused of raping a woman in a bathroom on the Takoma Park campus of Montgomery College on Tuesday, via WTOP. “After the initial rape, the charging documents say Hart talked with the victim, hugged her and apologized. … The victim told police her attacker got mad when she put on her pants and raped her again.”
