Metro has at last decided that above-ground Metro stations will remain closed on Monday. Underground service will also be limited, with trains running only every 24 to 30 minutes.

Fewer than two dozen Metrobus lines will be running on Monday, and those that are running will be keeping to snow emergency routes, at least at the start of the day. Check the list to see whether your favorite bus line is up and running tomorrow.

Metro (and this DCist writer) recommend consulting NextBus to determine when buses are arriving. The Circulator also is among the buses running on Monday, and it’s in fact free to ride tomorrow, though it may be running less frequently than normal. There will be no MetroAccess service at all.

UPDATE: Metro hours are taking a hit from the snow, too. Metrorail service starts at 7 a.m. tomorrow, and what Metrobus lines are running will run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
