- GGW makes an interesting point about the way WMATA’s press releases are delivered contributing to the transit agency’s web site crashing more frequently. I’ll just add that Metro only switched to this method a little less than a year ago, and it was supposedly because it made it possible to get out press releases to everyone much, much faster.
