Don’t forget, DCist is currently searching for a new senior editor. This is a paid, full-time position. As the Gothamist main office is in NYC, the new DCist editor will work from home.

Responsibilities will include writing a large volume of news, arts & events, and food posts each day, as well as editing posts written by others. You must also be comfortable reporting: calling sources, interviewing people, tracking down quotes, etc. Requirements: at least one year of full-time blogging experience, a ferocious drive and piercing wit, a deep and abiding interest in Washington, D.C., and the stamina to create 10-12 well written posts per day while managing the flow of pieces from other contributors.
