According to Postie Adam Kilgore, it appears that the Nationals pitching rotation will get a boost in about a month from righthanded starter Chien-Ming Wang, whose rehabilitation from a shoulder operation is coming along nicely. Wang is even doing some simulated work every two or three days, a good sign that his long, hard recovery — which Kilgore dubbed “a grind” — is close to over. The Nationals got a hold of Wang in February, fully aware that he might not be ready to roll until early summer. But with John Lannan’s recent demotion to Double-A Harrisburg, the Nats really could use Wang — and soon.
