At Week 8, we’re only at the midpoint of Washington’s Top Chef season. It really feels like no season has ever dragged on this long. I’m almost ready to throw up my hands and apply a Real World D.C.-type treatment to the rest of this season.

But my dear poll takers, I do thank you for a little shake up in the results. For the first time, Kelly grabbed our poll’s top spot with 30 percent of the vote last week, booting out stalwarts Kenny (24 percent) and Angelo (14 percent). Of course, Alex only received one vote in last week’s poll, but surprisingly went on to win the challenge.

As for last week’s culinary question, a surprising 37 percent of respondents indicated that they would be interested in trying out duck testicles. As an offal fan, I applaud you, brave culinary adventurers. But for the other 63 percent, I don’t blame you for not wanting to partake in this “delicacy.”

Bravo has posted a list of ten possible Top Chef finale locations. So this week, we want to know where you want the finals to be. I know I’d like to see the bard herself, Sarah Palin, judging a finale in Wasilla, Alaska that has the finalists field dressing moose. It’d surely be more interesting than what we’re watching now.
